I’m forever using old train tickets and receipts as bookmarks and thought it was about time I had something a little nicer! This origami heart bookmark is super simple and totally lovely!

Give it a try with this simple picture tutorial:

Mark a square 4x4 inches on some nice paper

Let's call this side A

With side A facing up, fold the bottom to the centre line

Turn over so side B is facing up

Fold the left corner in to meet the centre line

Fold the bottom point up to meet the top edge

Press out the left centre fold

Fold over the tops if you'd like a flat edge on the heart

You can swap the sides you use as A and B to make the heart patterned
